C.Y.O. Children's Fundraiser - Celebrity Dinner

It was back in February 1986, at the Chandelier Place in Stoney Creek that the Catholic Youth
Organization (C.Y.O.) launched their largest fundraising event called the C.Y.O. Celebrity Dinner.

This annual fundraiser raises the $50,000 needed each year to administer our unique One-to-One
Counsellor Program for children with special needs that enables these children to participate in the C.Y.O.'s summer day and residential camping programs offered at Camp Marydale and Camp Brébeuf.


Serving over 10,000 Children - in our Community with special needs

In 1972, the C.Y.O. was one of the first camps in Ontario to integrate special needs children, ages 6 to 13 years old, into our mainstream camp programs. Since 1986, proceeds, from our annual C.Y.O. Celebrity Dinner-Children's Fundraiser, help to offset the added expense of our One-to-One service, that enables these very special children the opportunity to enjoy all of the fun and excitment of going to camp along with their able bodied friends.

How you can help!

The C.Y.O. has been blessed to be surrounded by friends who share in our commitment to create
a community accessible to all children. Help us to continue our mission by purchasing tickets;
advertising in our dinner program, or by becoming a dinner sponsor. Any support you provide will
bring a smile to the thousands of young children our agency serves.
